Outdoors, grow in humus rich moist but well drained soil in full sun. Indoors, keep in a high light area and fertilize with a balanced fertilizer every 3 weeks in the growing season. Water sparingly in the winter dormant months. When planting outdoors, dig a hole twice the size of the root ball. Fill with good quality topsoil mixed with compost and some of the removed soil. To remove the plant from the container, cut the pot and gently ease out the root ball taking care not to disturb the roots.
